Surgery.... Me too.
Well, folks, looks like we're having a rash of people having surgery. Curtis, Ed, et al. My best wishes to all.
I go into the hospital this Sunday for surgery on Monday to remove a first-stage cancerous mass from my intestines. They will remove a section of intestine and sew whatever is left back together. So from then on I'll be even more of a gutless wonder.   No worries, I'm in the hands of God.

I'll be praying for you Don. I know first hand how scary this kind of thing is......I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. As soon as your able, make sure you let us know how your doing.

Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers, my friends.
 I check in at 6:00 and the surgery will be done Monday. And Ed, I'll get back here ASAP. I'll take a laptop to the hospital.

Thanks for your prayers!! They worked.
I came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon after 7 days. The surgery was a complete success.
They got it all. I don't have any real pain and am able to walk around the house just fine. I'm hoping to be able to make a few folders again. I'd had 4 of my latest on hand and sold 3 of them a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to keep one of the Toothpicks for myself, but the buyer insisted on having 3 as Christmas presents. So, my friends, I'm back! Give me a few weeks and I might have another folder. Best wishes to everyone.
