Yes, the nail nick is unique. You're the first to notice it. By the way, is the correct name for these "Saddlehorn Trapper"? Someone called a previous one that. I think it was Paul Long, Sheathmaker here. |

Great trapper Don, must get around to ordering the plans. I've not made to many slip joints and never a multi-blade.
Cheers, Andy. |

When you make one, I know it'll be spectacular!! I've recently joined the British Blade forum. if you're there too, say something. |

I don't know about being spectacular But I'll give it my best effort. Yes I've spotted you on British blades..please accept my apologies, but I thought I'd already spoke to you over there. Your input is allways most welcome. paypal sent for plans. Best regards, Andy. Last edited by andy gascoigne; 03-09-2007 at 03:15 PM. |

Hey Don
Just wondering, what thickness of steel do you start with when doing integrals of this size? Also what thickness do you leave under the scales? I was thinking of getting some 1/8th stock , or would 3/16th be better? Thanks for sharing your work with us, Robin Prince p.s. I've got your Barlow plans and work is under way! |
