Cord Wrap
This is my first cord wrap thanks to the help received here. I need a little more practice but I now have the general idea. I hope to expand upon this basic knowledge and maybe come up with something a little more original. The nice thing about cord wrap is that you can un-wrap and start over.

Depending on the environment you are using your knife,(blood, oils, mud )you can consider impregnating the wrapped handle with epoxy to avoid a lot of the possible mess.
On non stainless blades a coating with epoxy or some other protective and rust inhibiting paint underneath the wrap helps preserving your knife. You can even put some clean sand in the coating to prevent slipping of your wrap. Jan |
