Don Robinson Mammoth Ivory Barlow The little barlow is one of Don's newly designed barlow linerlock. ATS34 blade is 3/32" thick x approximately 2 1/2" long from bolster to tip.60 Rc, triple tempered. Opens and closes extremely easily because the blade rides on a bronze bushing with a thrust washer on each side of the blade. Detent keeps the blade closed.Lock bar in liner locks the blade open.Thunderforged damascus bolsters and back spacer. the back spacer is also the blade stop in the open position. 24k gold plated screws. Hidden pivot screw under the bolsters.Genuine mammoth ivory handle scales scales.Blue anodized liners, heat colored bolsters and back spacer.Full vine filework from end of handle to blade clip point. Price US $450.00 + free shipping in US   This large knife has a 6 3/4" long blade made of A-2 (5% chrome) tool steel. A-2 holds an edge well, and can be sharpened on a whet stone. Very tough steel. this blade is 59-60Rc. 5/32" thick, full tang, well balanced with premium ironwood burl handle. Light for its size. Hand rubbed finish. Mosaic pins in the handle, stainless steel pins and guard. Full vine filework from the handle butt up to the clip point.
