"T" headed nails

Last week had a hammerin here, lots of fun. Mike C. brought some goodies and some "T" headed nails which are used in a nail gun. These are perfect for the rivet on antler handle folders, saves the trouble of making them. They are zinc plated which can be removed in radio shack printed circuit etchant or vinegar will work, I think.

Was cleaning up the shop and found some members of the peanut gallery, included them in the image.

What is the diameter on the nails? I am always looking for interesting peining material.

Question for you guys.

Is it pinning or peining? If you use a ballpein hammer then shouldn't it be called peining?
I have seen both terms used. Or should I be PC and just call it non-ferrous hammer cold riveting?

These are .085" Don't know what other sizes are available.

Peining sounds OK to me. I think I have seen "peen" used too.
