I made a folder!!

I just finished this. I won a set of Kirinite scales on the Knifedogs forum and this is the result.

I've been scarce here because I'm 79 years old and can hardly get around any more.

So it's nice to post something.

Hey Don,
You are a youngster, I will be 88 in December and I am still making knives. Of course I have slowed down some. Good luck youngster and keep the blades coming.
Bill

I haven't been out to the shop in quite a while. Family life and work have been taking up most of my time. I do plan on getting back in there soon though, I've got some stuff on the bench that's been sitting there for a long time!

Very nice Don. Your ability to hold the grind lines on folder blades is an inspiration for me. I have a very hard time stopping the grind line, it seems to always go to the spine.

20 years of practice might help.

Thanks for all your compliments. This is my first folder this year, I think. Maybe longer than that.

I won the scales from KnifeDog and was obligated to make a knife using them. Glad I did, because I now have a presentable folder in my pocket.
