horizontal belt grinder
I've been thinking of buying one of the horizontal belt grinders from KMG. Seems like a great tool particularly using the contact wheels to work the insides of slip joint springs and the curve on the bottom of the blade tangs leading into the kick. Right now I use the flat vertical platen, and track the belt off the edge to work the curves.
Does anyone use one of the horizontal grinders? or have another metod of working these areas? here's a link to the KMG horizontal grinders. http://www.beaumontmetalworks.com/ Thanks J (posting this in Tool Time also) |

I answered your other post. I've had mine for many years and wouldn't be without it.
