Daigle knife back from Afghan.

I gave this knife to my neighbor's kid when he went into the Marine Corps. TKN member Chris Daigle made it out of O-1 and also made the kydex sheath. My neighbor is now back, after becoming a Marine Sniper and serving a couple of tours in Afghanistan. He asked me to sharpen it for him, so I took the opportunity to take some pictures. He said it was particularly good at opening doors and other hard to open things.

Anyone who's seen Chris' work knows he makes some beautiful knives, but his knives are also tough.

Wow, that's a bad boy!
I'd like to know what that knife has seen!

That's one of the best ads for Chris' work that you could ask for. I hope everyone gets to see this post. Chris is a cool guy, and obviously a "real" maker.

Make sure you thank that brave soldier for us!

Trust me, there were some very bad people who discovered too late what "Marine sniper" means.

Thank you both Rick and Alex!

Wow! That's an oldie. Sorry for just seeing this now, Rick. I should have looked it up after your email.

Best,
Chris

Good deal all around. Chris, that looks like a super tool that would find many important uses.

Buddy! Good to see you Sir.

I'm just glad this Marine had a chance to use my steel. Getting the feedback is priceless.
