Finished one for a friend
Hay guys,,
Just finished a working knife for my nabor,,he is a grounds keeper and wanted a blade to do grounds keeper stuff (i'm not sure of what all that entails)
Its ATS-34,,5/32" thick(at spine),, full tang,,9-3/4" OAL,,with a 5" blade(point to bolster)
10"inch wheel used for the hollow grind,,,
Black canvis macarta,,polished along the spine but sanded to 320 grit on the sides for added grip,,
The handle was hollow ground on the sides with a 14"inch wheel to assist with grip.
The bolsters are 416 stainless,,and hollow ground on the sides to latch it into the sheath and it also helps index the knife in the hand without looking at it.
i spent alot of time on the leading edge of the bolsters champfering them all the way to the blade,,(find the seem lines,,whee haw)
