Case or pouch for Tomahawk?

Not sure where else to ask this, did a search and didn't find anything.

Normally with a knife I supply both a leather sheath and a wool lined pouch. With a hawk I'm at a loss.

I'm thinking of simply sewing a full pouch from wool blanket material, and storing the hawk with an edge protector in the wool pouch. Not concerned about a forge finished hawk that's meant to be used hard, but a nicely polished one with carved handle I'd like to protect, and give the customer something to protect the hawk.

I've thought of doing a leather sheath, but that doesn't protect the haft, and leather isn't a good idea to store polished steel or damascus in, wether it's waxed or not.

Thanks
