About time you used some real steel. I like it. I can even see the pattern of the rebar on the side of the bit. Is that an Oregon Duck? Ray

Re: ace of hearts

Yep...I liked the Idea so we designed the black jack set in Hearts...And this with a green velvet table cover and my Price style reproductions make a awesome table display.
Ebbtide also made a box for the cards to go in that makes the deck of cards theme even more realistic.Ican open the box that looks like the cards by the way and slide out the cards and freak people out when they find out they are my business cards..
We are trying to get some poker chips with my name on them also,I think that would be just way to cool..

Re: ace of hearts

Bruce thats soooooo cool, love the duck bill! Ive been trying some stuff in the type 60 rebar, I love it, it holds a reasonable edge, and boy what a price for steel! bought a 20' stick for $4.88 ! Do you have a premade drift, or are you doing it by some other means? Anyone know what size drift for the "average" store bought hawk handle? And where to get the drifts from?

Keep up the good work Bruce!

Mike

Re: ace of hearts

Mike, you got riped. What size did you get? I'm kiding on the riped part, I've never bought any, it just seems to show up in the back of my truck when I leave the job.

Bruce, I think you've had that piece of rebar for at least 6 months if not longer but you never got around to using it until now. I've been trying to tell you its the steel of the future. I hear the prices are going to jump up now.....Ray

Nice work Bruce. I like the look of the duck

Great idea with the cards and poker chips. I want to see what your table looks like when you've got everything laid out the way you like, sounds great.
