Thumbs up split hammer handles

Ed, just wanted to let you know that I tried that trick of sawing the hammer handles about 1/3 of the length side to side. I couldn't believe how it tamed my 3lb hammer. If anyone is getting a sore elbow or wrist and your anvil height is set right for you, you might just want to give this technique a try.

Glad it works for you Doug! I do have to give credit where credit is due...a number of years ago Wayne Goddard told/showed me that trick, I mearly adopted it and passed the knowledge on to others.
