Tools!

ToolTime Archive...

There is NOTHING like the right tool for the job.
History records the knife as man's oldest tool.
In the first book of the Bible (Genesis 4:22) smiths started heating and beating better tools. Tubal-Cain forged all kinds of tools from bronze and iron.
Tools are mostly considered a "guy thing". However, women appreciate a good knife, razor, scissors, tweezers, etc.
A tool, by definition, is an implement to make a job eaiser. Perhaps that is why I love knives so much. There are so many different kinds of knives.
Tools just seems to be a good topic. I don't claim to know everything about anything. But I like to know how things work. Tools evolve and revolve around needs - which we all know was the mother of invention.
We can all welcome better or easier ways to do things.
I'd like this forum to be a place where we share ideas and "secrets" to improve all our work and custom cutlery in general.
The better we get, the better knives get, the better the interest generated in them gets, and so on...
My sweet wife Pat (KnifeWife) has posted some of my favorite time savers. Take a look and let me know what you think.
We all have our favorite ways.
What's yours?
