Avatar help? Here you go...!
Guys, I *sometimes* know when to draw on a pro when I struggle with something. Wanting to do a better job with my own avatar, I called upon the best in the biz--PhilL (Phil LaBarbera). His creations are in high regard from a BUNCH of top knifemakers and other forumites (but not necessarily on the CKD). He sent this to me as a brief tutorial from start to finish. I like the second one better, but it looks like you didn't try the Unsharpen Mask in step 2. |

Ok, now it used that even more. And yet ANOTHER style.... Played with the background till I got the same grey, to eliminate the 'boxey' look. He he he! after posting I realize I only have a 50/50% chance of matching the background. I have WAY too much energy devoted to this!!! Back to the drawing board.... Coop |
