2 slip joints W.I.P

Today i have start to make two slip joint folders, the first will be the a new model with a clip point blade, and the second will be a trapper model. For the new model I will use black G10 with stainless bolsters
and for the trapper model I think I will put some black G10 or carbon fiber. Now i have to mark the open and close position for the blades so I can make the last hole for the pins in the liners, and tomorrow I will start to make the blades and back springs ready for heat-treat.

Thanks for looking.
NP

After a health issue, I am hoping that soon I will be back on track and start to do some progress for the two folders.
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Finally, today i have done some small progress with the folders,
Today?s work, as you can see at the pictures I have manage to cut and fit the bolsters and scales on one of them and I have make the blades ready for heat tread.
for the moment I have to put the trapper model on hold because the carbon fiber they have send me it was not the one I had order so I have to wait for the new one to arrive.
Thanks for looking
Np
