PhotoTime - uploaded images desaturated!

I have experienced this significant (!) problem in the last 2-3 days. Anybody else?

I would guess desaturation is 40-50%! It's pretty obvious if you look at these images I posted on the display forum last night (even though you don't have my 'originals' to compare, it's still noticable): http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=26703

I know for sure this is happening when I use their 'batch uploader' and will test compare their other uploading options to see if it's just an issue with the batch uploader. I also noticed some minor changes in their site which makes me wonder if a recent internal overhall is the cause.

Any thoughts? Thanks! BT

Buddy, send me an original to compare. I see that they are a little dull, but I have never experienced a problem like that. I suspect it has to do with a color profile, rather than a rework of the image.

Hmmmm....

Robert - have no fear, Coop is probably right and I've made a color-space error or some other mistake. It's kind of like thinking the bank made a mistake when it was really just my own bad arithmetic.

Coop - I'll double check the color-space issue and if it's not obvious to me I'll send an original your way. Thanks! Makes sense.

Chuck - Thanks for mentioning the web-site issue and supporting Alex and Atlanta Virtual. Honestly, I figured little-ol-me would never need a web-site and I often wondered how Alex could 'afford' to host these forums and how I was probably getting a free ride off of him somehow. I have never actually understood what is really going on around here beyond some knife sales and a lot of yammering on the forums. I'd like to speak with you about this so I'll give you a buzz soon. Appreciate your bringing up this issue.

Buddy

Buddy - looking forward to hearing from you - we'll be home all weekend.
We're learning a whole new system of beading for the "shepherds" knife......
