Unhappy Display size changed on its own

I'm using an Apple Ibook G4 laptop that is out of warranty.

Yesterday it started displaying only a small screen, making it necessary to scroll around to view a full page.

The desktop is normal, but anything on the internet shows a smaller screen. I have always had my screen set at 600 x 800, but it's now displaying only 640 x 480 for some unknown reason.

Can someone tell me how to recover the full screen?

Thanks.

Don,
If the the desktop resolution hasn't changed, only the browser window size, it would seem that it's a browser issue. Which are using, Safari, Firefox? Some websites use Java to resize your window, you can change your browsers preferences to disallow this, however, if all web pages are displaying at the 640x480 resolution then it might be another issue.

If you resize your browser window, pull the bottom right corner to the size you want, then go to another website, does your window revert back to the 640x480 size?

Thanks, Mike. I use Firefox and it's always 640 x 480. I tried pulling the corner to stretch it, but it won't stretch.

Tried Safari and it displays the full screen. 6 00x800.

So, it's Firefox that's caused the problem.

Any solution?

Thanks for the help.
