Log in troubles a quandry

In the past 3 days I have had a devil of a time logging in. First I thought it may be my pw so I changed it through the system. But everytime I've logged in its taken me right back to the log in page requiring my name and pw sometimes it goes straight to that other times it goes back to login after I get the welcome screen.

Apparently it has been solved by registering a new name, as yet I've had no troubles, so it cant be computer settings on my end.

Thoughts suggestions? Help, mayday, sos.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can send my way.

Sounds like a corrupted cookie. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Options. On the General tab in the middle there is a button that says "Settings". Click that, then click the View Files button. This will bring up a window that lists all the cookies on your system. Sort them by "Internet Address" by clicking on the Internet Address heading, then scroll down to you see the one for Knife Network. My cookie's Internet Address looks like this: Cookie:jamey@knifenetwork.com/

Highlight that cookie and delete it. Then restart IE and try logging in again.

The best thing to do when this happens is to remove all cookies associated with "knifenetwork" in /Windows/Cookies/, or you can logout and click this handy link, http://www.knifenetwork.com/ppost/cookies.php

Let us know if the above doesn't solve it ...
Please include configuration info, browser/version and av/firewall info.
