windows xp webform passwords..question?

You know the feature that asks if you would like windows to store your user name and password so you don't need to retype it everytime you visit the same web site...?

Well, I use that feature...but for this board....at one time I must have selected the "don't save" option...and now I have to retype my user name and password to log in. Since I do this about 20x an hour (hee hee)...I need to get this figured out. If I go to a new web site with a log in screen...then I get the prompt to save or not. But web sites that I've already been to...and have already selected "do not save"...no longer prompt me...I've changed my mind and now I want to save.....how do I do it?

Sincere thanks for any help,

or...for a good laugh if you can't help...

Rob

(edit addition)....oh yea...I'm using IE6.0...

If you have cookies enabled, you shouldn't have to log in everytime you come here. You should be logged in automatically. When you sign in, there's a box below the username and password labeled something like "Remember me". If that's checked, the KN will set a cookie on your machine and automatically log you in every time you visit. That is, if you have cookies enabled in your browser. (And there's really no good reason not to have them enabled. There's no real major security risk, regardless of what some folks will tell you.)

I'm not sure how to reset this option in IE, since I use Firefox (from http://www.mozilla.org, a much superior browser, in my opinion). I did a quick set of Google searches, and came up with no help, so maybe someone else will have a suggestion.

Personally, I'd dump IE, download Firefox (it's free), and enable cookies.
