I just finished removing the installed scales and removed the brass pins. now comes the hard part of figuring out what material to use for the new scales.i'm also considering cutting down the tube and hiding it beneath the scales. has anyone finished one and have photos?

not finished yet, still have yet to decide on a few things. Am thinking about a mosaic pin.

My first comment was to complain about the lockbar.

Darrell,
I had a question about the lockbar/tang engagement. I was able to dry fit both kits with the same result, so it must be the design. seems solid enough from the outside. The contact between the lockbar lug and rear edge of the tang slot seems to be a very narrow. The tang slot is significantly deeper; pocket lint will not be a problem. I have taken some pictures and was going to create a new topic. Mike |
