Darrel-

The Typhoon has to wait on the back burner until I finish my current project.

I'm coming down the home stretch on a DDR2 which in some ways is my most ambitious to date...This is the one I mentioned in my recent e-mail correspondence with you (when I inquired about the size of the pivot hole). I've done some carving on the steel backspine that I fully expect will get some tongues wagging (in a good way I hope) I'm coming down the homestretch and would like to have it posted within the week.

At the same time, I'm also taking care of a filework job for a customer...it's a very old Shrade fixed blade (with a brass guard and pommel), and the customer was bragging to associates at a big Pen show in Florida (he's in the fine pen business) that he had a friend who could turn this plain old knife into something special...So I've got my work cut out for me. (I'm nearly finished that as well...sure did clean up nice...surprisingly so...looks pretty neat with the filework)

I'll be diving into the Typhoon after that...and as usual have a couple of less-than-subtle ideas brewing You've designed a really cool knife with the Typhoon, and having played (and flipped) with it quite a bit already, I'm certain that I'm gonna have fun embellishing it.
