Got my kit today and "dry fitted" it. It is a very cool knife, not a splinter puller like the others. This is more of a combat knife, has a heft to it and really fills the hand. It is calling for carbon, might do more of a rustic, "stealth" finish on it. Putting my half finished knives to the side and gonna just work on this one...oh, the stand-offs are a great idea!

I just recieved this from a fellow.
Just thought I would share.

Darrel,
I just wanted to tell you how much i liked the DD3s i bought from you, i never had a kit knife or for that matter never even seen one, It went together in about 15 minutes, no tweaking, blade perfectly centered, and locked up perfect. Great design, and engineering. Of course i will take it apart and put in my own personal touches. Thanks Darrel, Sincerely,Tom ( sharpshooter)

DDR 3 has arrived!

What a knife!

I'm going to put it together this weekend and start carrying it next week.

The blade length is perfect for me, and the knife looks like it'll be as solid as a #### tank!

Thanks, Darrell for designing your best kit yet!

Thanks C3.
The DDR3 is solid and very reliable. Let us know what you think when you get the knife built and carry it a while.

Received my kits yesterday, all the way over here in Oz.
I really like the thicker liners. Sure is a solid piece of kit, definitly going to be a hit.
