Heavy Damascus Skinner

Finished this one a couple nights ago- made from my own 220 layer, 1084 and 15n20 [Many thanks to Plain ol' Bill and his press!].

Just shy of 8 inches, spalted burl handle, leather by Tess.

Comments welcome...

Dave

Hey WinDancer,

For the record, I HATE a clean organized work bench, but I do like the knife!!

That's a great looking knife. The pattern welded steel goes great with that burl.

LOVE IT !! It looks a little like a Trace Rinaldi knife but then again, Trace kinda has the market convinced on the kitchen-utility-tactical look, so anything like that will inadvertently look like one of his... ah well...

That knife is just plain beautiful. And, that is a very very funky damascus. What would you call it ? A combination between raindrop and random or Pool-and-eye or something ? Great job. Jason.

Partner that is a beautiful piece! Very understated, but with a simple flair that is truly inspiring! Keep em coming!!
