My first Typhoon

This is my first attempt to post photos so bear with me.

The insert material is mastadon bark ivory. Hope this works!

The knife feels great! My compliments again to Darrel. The Typhoon is a great knife. I still have a couple more kits and several ideas that I want to try. I'll post them as I get the done.

EXCELLENT!

WOW That thing looks incredible. How did the ivory react when filed and cut? Did it warp or give you any other type of problems? Nice match on the material! Thanks for sharing.

The only problem I've ever experienced is the ivory can burn if you get it too hot when sanding or polishing. I found that it is best if you finish the handles before you epoxy the inserts in. that way you don't have to be quite so careful with heat build up.
