Big bad Fighter

Here is the fighter Steve brought to the show. It is just fantastic to see and hold in person. I will have Johnson knives on the photo contest for the next few weeks...muahahaha...

I went and sold the "Personal Model," of which a photo was requested, but will put another one together soon and take a shot.

I've had this nice big set of ivory around for a long time and wanted to make good use of it, so came up with this big fighter/survival-type blade. The short top guard, is a bit different for me.

Did you know it's a fair amt. hotter in Florida than in Utah? Why......Bob was even perspiring as we were out there grinding a fighter blade. I didn't sweat at all. But then I was careful not to move!

That is a fine looking piece of work Steve. I just love the lines on those chute knives and fighters of yours.

What is the ivory?

That is an awesome fighter. I would almost trade my dog for that one. Well on second thought I had better keep saving my money. I can get more money, but I will probably never have another shop buddy as good as the one I have now.
People who say that money can't buy you love have just never bought a good DOG.

Would that be a Golden Retriever? If so, let's talk! Elephant ivory for a fine dog.....hmmm.
Thanks for all of your kind remarks.

Both of em? Give 'em a kiss for me. Speaking of fat, Brenda's cooking took it's toll. I'll have to get back to jogging to lose the extra weight I picked up in Tampa. Nice visit, very nice.
