We are extremely lucky to have the coordination and imagination to do this. I'm always reminded of that when I see someone step up to the grinder for the first time, and watch to see which ones will be able to develop it and which just cannot do it. That's when I realize that I am super lucky to be able to do what little I can do. Some days it's not all fun, but that "admirin stage" as the work begins to become a knife makes it all worthwhile...

I have it excactly the same way Steve...!

I allways try to do different things instead of grinding but as soon as i am on it I love it......guess it?s like taking a bath...once your wet it is ok...

Just got up from the shop after grinding 12 blades to shape, dilling holes and tapering tangs on 7 or 8 of them....one thing I hate AFTER grinding is steelgrit on my ears...
