Vegas Show/Shot show

Last night I was online setting up my Hotel Reservations for the Vegas Show and noticed some ads for the Shot Show. I went to their website to see what it was all about and noticed that it requires certain things or a membership just to get in the door.

I also noticed in the Blade Magazine that a lot of knife manufacturers have booths there. Does anyone have any info on this ? Is it worth checking into ?

Looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone in Vegas.

Shane

Hi Shane,

This is a "Trade" show for those in the hunting/outdoor business. In theory there is nothing there to buy. However, this "attitude" changes on the last day of the show.

I believe you will need one of your business cards and $15 to get in the door.

It is an amazing show to attend. You would need several hours just to casually walk through the show.

Thanks Les, It looks like it would be a good one. I noticed that it said you could enter with a Business card related to the trade.

Thanks again,

Shane

The $15.00 is an early Pre-registration price. I'm not sure what the cutoff date is, but sooner is better if you want to go. They may want a resale # but a business card or proof of a business may work.

I just dropped into the SHOT Show a few years ago. It cost me $50 and I had to show a business card of a knife shop I frequent. Quite simple. You better have at least all day to look around. Well worth the price.
