So I used real Carnauba Wax

For the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW this stuff is great. No more smears, no more wearing off, a great finish that shines wonderfully even after using the knife.

I bought real carnauba wax in flake form from a company called Texas Drone http://www.texasdrone.com/ I then melted some using a double boiler let it cool then broke out a new set of buffing wheels and held the cooled wax to the wheels so it would work into the cotton.

I then buffed the handles and worked the wax into them, it brought out a shine I could not believe and it will not wipe off while using the knife.

This stuff is a little expensive, but the pound I bought will last me 5 years and again WOW it works great, I will never try any other wax on a knife handle.

I will try to take some pics of the handle tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

John
