My new "replacement" folder

The Blade Show was really good to me this year......I even sold the folder out of my pocket! Of course a Bladesmith can't be running around with a knife in his pocket....so I came home and put this one together in the last couple of days......

Pictures are not the best (did them with my iphone)....but it's not bad for a phone camera.

I used to be one to denounce serrations, but after using them for a while, and considering many of the "tough" cutting jobs I do in the shops and around my place, I've come to really like them. Of course the fact that I spent a pocket full of dough on a diamond serration wheel might have something to do with that!

Good looking folder Ed. I have always wondered what you folder guys use to cut the slot on the locking bar.

Really like the frame on that one, Ed. Is that just anodized coloring in the carved spots?
