Buford Newbie

Hello.
I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum. To start off, i'm not a knife maker, I'm more of what you would call a chemical coating's geek. I was introduced to handle making by Allen at WAS Knive's a couple of month's ago and have completely fell in love with it, so much so that i intend on making it my primary business in the hopefully near future.
I currently own a business in Buford, finishing ( not re-finishing) newly constructed wood projects for commercial and residential shops.
I've been doing my homework on what knife makers prefer for materials to work with and have always been a big supporter of using top quality products to produce the end result.
Here are a few products i will be using.
Alumilite clear and Alumilite 80D for castings
Cactus Juice for wood stabilization
I'm on the fence with PR ( polyester resin ) for Micarta and looking for a less irritating product for me and you. if you have a preference please let me know.
Thanks
Stiffy

Hey everyone, Rob is a stand-up guy I have known for a few years now through our hobby of Jeeps. He has stepped in full bore with this and the products are great. You will see alot of my knives coming off the bench with his handle material. The pine cones are awesome and the stabilized wood is top notch. Great to see you here Rob!
