First Randall's I purchased 1959

These are the first two Randall's I purchased when I was 15 years old. I've sold and traded a lot of knives since then, but these have had a special place in my collection for 47 years.

Welcome Pathfinder!

Hi David, Welcome to the Randall forums.

WOW! Those are a classic pair of vintage Randalls. Thanks for posting them here.

A "Smitty" and a Large "Toothpick" from 1959! Very cool!

Now I have just one question...How does a fifteen year old get to purchase such big knives?

Best regards

David

First Randall's

Moosehead, Thanks for the good feedback. The way a 15 year old can buy two large Randall's is work hard and save my money. In fact Bo Randall wanted to know the same thing, I guess he could tell I was young by the way the letter I sent in to order the knives sounded young. At the time I think I paid $75 for the bowie and $50 for tje Arkansas Toothpick. I sure wish I had saved the letter.
