Anyone seen the insides of an auto OTF knife?

I've always wondered what the mechanism of these 'NATO' type knives looked like. Having made a folder novelty 'comb' knife for a friend, I thought I'd try an OTF (Out The Front) type comb knife as well. As a comb, it would not require a sturdy lock up, but I can't see a sliding mechanism, lock solidly enough for a blade. Can't rap my head around it. Where the heck does the spring go? Any response welcome, especially if it's accompanied by detailed drawings!

veebeek, thanks for the link! I got a lot of info there, but I sure wish the photography was better. It was good enough to know I was in over my head.
