Support Update: Forum Attachments Enabled

Dear Knife Network User,

We are opening up the thread attachment features of the forums beginning Sat. 11/20/04. This will be enabled for all usergroups. There are some limits on dimension (600x600) and filesize per attachment (52KB) to keep the forums functional, but we hope you find this new feature helpful when posting images to the boards. Board posted images will not run throughout the site, as in those uploaded to the gallery, and may be pruned from time to time, so please keep this in mind when posting to historic threads.

If any changes in this are necessary, we will post them here.

Excellent choice. I *know* the Gallery ##ea was supposed to cover this, but the process confuses all but the most willing.

We will *need* a sticky on how to achieve this posting size criteria. It never ends...

My business is going to prosper. I look forward to many a lousy shot mixed in with the good ones, now that the gates will open...!

OK, I came upon a thread with an 'attached image'. When I post I don't see an area for doing so. Has it been started and disabled? What's up?

That sa##, there has been an inordinate amount of 'server too busy' notes I haven't logged. Is this part of it?

When you are making the post, scroll down below the Submit Reply and Preview Post buttons.

There is another section labeled Additional Options. One of those options is Attach Files/Manage Attachments.
