Titanium Grades

I am sure that this has been discussed, but since these knives that bend in the middle are a new adventure to me I was wondering if it makes any difference which grade Ti you use for your liners? Does CP Ti have any advantages over 6-4, or the other way around?
I have found a sheet of CP Ti that I can get for a good price. It is .048 X 20.00 X 42.50 and I can get it for $75.00.
If it will work I could get a lot of liners from it.

Your best bet is always using 6al4v. 6al4v will anodize to more colors and the most
important reason is the retention of the spring tension. The CP grade will not hold the tension
you bend it too. You could use that CP for the solid side, but two things could/might
happen. One, you will not be able to match colors when anodizing, but sure as heck,
some time or other you will get a piece of that CP mixed in with the 6al4v. Then you will
have a knife come back to you for a weak lock-up. I purchased some CP in the
past, it just sits on the shelf. Some day I might use it for the solid side.
