I have been wanting to make a double knife rig for a long time. Something inline and not bulky. After many ideas that were trashed, here's what I came up with. Hand forged bowie and a blacksmith knife. The bowie is balanced at the guard and feels very fast in hand. It has a forged distal taper,starting at a little over 3/16"thick and a false clip.
Bowie Specs:
steel- 1095 (antiqued etch), differential quench
handle- wormy crepe myrtle wood
fittings- buggy tire and twisted copper wire
oal- 14 1/4"
blade- 9 1/8"

Blacksmith Knife Specs:
steel- 1095 (antiqued etch), differential quench
handle wrap- raw hide(saturated with super glue after drying) and twisted
copper wire
oal- 7 1/2"
blade-3 3/4"
