First Leather Sheath

Well after deciding I just don't like the look of kydex for anything other than tactical knives, I decided to learn leatherwork. After tons of reading, and viewing several tutorials, I went to Tandy and got my stuff together. This is the first one I made - to finish out the first knife I made.



I need to bring home some medic gloves from work... notice the stains on my hand from the leather dye



I didn't even notice my red shirt reflecting in the blade until I uploaded the picture.


I already made my second, a stacked sheath, for my second knife. The finish is drying right now. Pictures to come.

Looks like you did a very nice job on the sheath. You've got a source for free gloves so that's good but if you need more than you can bring home, Harbor Freight sells nitrile gloves in boxes of 100 for about $11 last time I bought some....
