A knife by Rob Brown of South Africa

A friend of mine is a big admirer of knives by Rob Brown. I believe he said that Rob is in South Africa and wasn'table to post the pics himself. Anyway, it's an extremely clean looking version of a Loveless hunter.
Enjoy....

Ive seen a lot of Robs work on his website and does an amazing job. He is also really good with his mirror finishes. Has a great tutorial on it.

Very nice/clean looking knife.

Shane

Now that's a tapered tang! A distal tapered tang ) I can't quite figure out the bolster work, appears to be framed bead blasting? I like that look.

So am I. I've been following his work for a good while now. Didn't Rob join CKD some time back? We need to get him posting over here.

Apparently not. I suggested the same to my friend but he said Rob just wasn't able to deal comfortably with computers. I don't know if that means a personal issue or if it's a hardware and connection problem ......

I've owned a couple of Rob Brown's knives - he is the very definition of "clean". Thanks for sharing the pic of that nice hunter. Here is a camp knife or Rob's with polished buffalo horn handle and a similar treatment of the bolsters.

Cheers,

Roger
