Ooooffffff !
Two customers of mine purchased some knives at the recent Bear & Son cutlery annual sale. They were not happy with the black generic sheaths that came with them, so they asked me to make sheaths for them.
Here is my feeble effort......... By the way, the small knife is an A.G. Russell marked "1977". It didn't come from the Bear sale. Robert |

N---I---C---E !! Robert, my friend, are you trying to be a threat to my future supply of grits, gravy and biscuits? Joking aside, those sheaths are very, very, nicely done.. Eye appeal by the bushel! Best of the season to you and your sweet lady! ---Sandy---

My sweet lady lost her mother this week, and it was quite a loss for her, especially at this time of year. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2007. My only wish is that we could live a little closer in order to lean on each other on a daily basis. Your friend forever............ Robert |

Very nice work. Love the subhilts. That "Sting" is worth a pretty penny these days. Better keep the original sheath along with the custom one.

Here is what it looks like up close. This isnt a Tandy Tool though Its a Gore Tool and cost a lil more money . OK a LOT MORE ! You link them together to form a chain, the tool is acutally only 1/4 tall and 3/8 long.

Dave,
Where did you get that "Gore" tool? I did several "Google" searches and found everything from "Al Gore is a tool" to some kind of medical supplies. Robert |
