If you check with a horse shoe supply store they have a product called Quick Poly. It is made to fill cracks in race horse hooves before a race to keep them from cracking anymore. THis stuff is great and will never let loose. It mixes like epoxy but is very thin I use medicine pill cups because the measure is critical and the cups have measurements on them. Once you use this you can not get the handle off not even with heat. So make sure it all fits the way you want it to. If there are any cracks around the fittings it will leak out. It dries in about 25 seconds or so. It turns a pale yellow color. I fill the handle about 1/2 full then get the but cap ready and fill it the rest of the way and screw the cap on it is then ready to grind in about 5 minutes and you don't have to worry about the cap getting loose.
