New Videos

A couple of new tools to use for knifemaking are available thru CCIV.

Working Fossil Handle materials with Charles Turnage reveals the tips to work rare fossil handles into custom knifemaking. Mammoth ivory, mammoth molar, and fossil coral are featured, worked, and stabilized for one purpose-exotic handles! No more need to be afraid of these materials anymore.

Traditional Silk Wrapped handles are the subject of Don Polzien's new video.
Learn how to fit, carve and create beautiful traditional Japanese silk wrapped handles from scratch with easy step by step processes.

Silver wire inlay with Allen Eldridge has been released too.

Next one to look for will be Scripture damascus with Ray Rybar, coming soon.
(this one will blow you away)

Damascus Details

We have all seen pictures in damascus steel, but until now the amount of detail was limited, the process was expensive, and it could not be produced in most home shops.

In Ray Rybar's new "Scripture Damascus" video, learn how to incorporate increadible amounts of detail (like scripture), in an easy, inexpensive process that can be done just about anywhere without using elaborate machines.

"Ya' thou I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil", is added to skulls, and crosses to enhance this colorful blade Ray made on video for us. Learn this simple process that allows unbelievable detail to appear in your work. Every word is legible in the final product. You will have to see this one for yourself.
I was blown away to see how something so complicated was made so simply.
It will change your thinking and limits like no other video I've seen or made.
It is the newest offering from CCIV.
God bless you all,
Geno
