Disabled knifemakers

I have been a knife maker off and on for over 45 years and in late October of 2017 my left leg above the knee was removed ,and it will not stop me from making knives so I was wondering if I am alone?

Good on you.

I'm too old and crippled up in mind and body to make any more knives, but I still enjoy my painting and jewelry making.

Sorry to hear about your loss, but sounds like you do not intend to let it be an issue. Good on You! Definitely not alone, I work with and teach disabled veterans bladesmithing every chance I get. Most of them adapt and conquer amazingly well. It's a true blessing to be able to help any way I can.

I'm disabled and in the hospital right now. I like knife making and leather work. Just slow at it is all.
