I got tipped on this one.

I sold this knife to a guy at work. We agreed on a price before I built it. When I presented it to him he was very excited and loved the knife. He ended up giving me a tip. 37 years old and thats the first time I have been tipped on anything!
Well heres the knife.
8.5 oal.
1080 steel
G10 scales.
ss hardware.
Consealex sheath.

Thank you Steve. (Your knives are very beautiful BTW. I love the Abalone handles.)

Good job! How was that G10 to work with? I've been contemplating getting some, I've only used traditional micarta thusfar. I have heard that it is more aggrevating.

BTW, a 10" contact wheel from Sunray- harmonic balanced is $265.67 plus S/H ($15 in my case)

Thanks for the comps guys.

The G10 seemed to work easier to me then the micarta. It seemed to come off in a heavier dust then the light dust of the Linen micarta. Almost granual like . I know that doesnt make much sense but thats how it seemed . Less dust .

Im still looking for something to make it have the shiney wet look . It looks awesome wet but dries to kinda dull looking. I have tried many coats of Danish oil.
If anybody has the tricks im all ears.

I wouldn't put any kind of chemical finish on G-10 (oil, lacquer, urethane, etc), that kind of defeats the purpose of using fiberglass in the first place. All you really need is some polishing compounds that work well with plastics and then buff away. I use White Diamond followed by No Scratch Pink (both from K&G) and G-10 polishes up like glass. A little Ren Wax and it's good to go .....

Thanks for the tips Ray.
I have buffed with classic wax but havent tried anything with abrasives in it. My buffer is also a joke. That is my next project .
