303 stainless
I have a chance to get two mold plates of this material. they have alot of holes but i could cut some useable pieces out. could this be anvil material? thanks |

303 is a corrosion resistant steel. It does not take repeated impact well. It has a tendency to mushroom and squash. It will make a pretty, rust free display anvil, but not a good working one. |
