Bamboo flooring

Did anyone tried bamboo flooring for handles?
It looks pretty nice, rather hard and cheap.

I've also been thinking about using bamboo flooring for handles. Do you know where I can get a few pieces? I saw a knife in the AG Russell catalog that had a bamboo handle. It looked nice.

Definitely something to try!

I was given a pallet made of laminated bamboo flooring. Still in the process of tearing it down into more manageable pieces. Looks like it might have some potential.
