Non glue handel mounting

Hey guys im new here just joined this morning, i lost my knife a couple months back on a hunt so i decided to make my own instead of forking out for a new one. Ive spent an immense amount of time on it so far as i dont have any power tools. Its a 13" blade full tang bowie/camping 18" overall knife. Im a kiwi living in patagonia chile and im at the point to mount a handle but i cant find ANY suitable glue/epoxy here, i orderes some on amazon and it was confiscated by customs 😠, is there anything else i can use?? Please dont say super glue as i want this knife to last 20 years + like my last one. Can you use pine pitch or something???? Please help!!
