Hello Wild Bill, I frequent the Berea show. I have met Robert Papp and David Morton the engraver from Lorain. They get together frequently and have invited me to join them. Keith is from Vermillion. Don Crockett and I went to the same high school and still live here in our home town.
Wow, quite a few right here close.

We do have quite a few here in the area.

I've only been here in Medina about a year..Grew up in Newark OH, over around Columbus. But i've been in San Diego and So. Cal, for the past 15 yrs or so..

What was i thinking coming back to the snow, as my wife reminds me every day ... for 4 months at least

Haven't ground anything since the temp in my garage dropped below 30.......a heater is what i want from Santa next year

There's two for sure in Akron, and I think that there may be a third. I haven't used any of them.
I'm just know switching from pre- made knives to grinding my own. Lots and Lots of practice with wood and scrape metal tho.

I am in southen Ohio in a villiage called Utopia. I know of 6 other knife makers around me.
Mike Franklin of Hawg Knives is up the river in Aberdeen and Carl Combs is north of Cincinnati and I know three up in Willmington. Then there is Koval and his group up in Columbus area.
