Mississippi Knife makers...

Hey every one ... I would just like to know if there are any Knife makers in or around Hattiesburg MS... or Mississippi period really. I've met Chuck Robinson and was curious if there were any others.. well.. I was just curious if there was anyone near that would maybe be willin' to help a newbie out. I appreciate any help you could offer..

Yes there are quite a few in ms. I for one was like you a little less than a year ago. I don't know many and the only ones I do know live in the starkville--columbus area like myself. I would be glad to help any way I can.

I too am from Mississippi. Up here in the Tupelo area you have me (Chris Crawford), Ted McMinn, John Cohee, and Bruce Evens. I know there are several in the Starkville area also. There was one other guy from around here that I believe moved down to the Hattiesburg area. Chuck Helton is his name. There are many more knifemakers in Mississippi. At one time we had a pretty active Mississippi knifemakers forum going, but it kind of died off.
