Treasures From The Blade

The family and I were able to make the Blade on Sunday this year. We were not there very long but in that short time I managed to pick up a few treasures. Father's day is coming up so Frank will be receiving a knife I had purchased for Emmie's collection. That meant I had to replace one for her. I found this nice slender piece on Carl's table and it now has a home with Emmie.

I had placed an order last year for these next pieces. They are basic hunters crafted for Avery and Micah by mastersmith Ron Newton. Ron and John were great friends and I am so proud to be able to get these for my grandsons. Ron is sending me the specs on these and all I know at this point is that these are amber stag. They are really nice looking pieces---just alike except for the slight variation in the stag. Frank is wondering if he might do better as a grandson instead of a son-in-law

I can't wait for the kids to get old enough to actually possess the knives I have purchased for them and for the ones that I have of John's that I am giving them. I hope they love and appreciate the craft and the artistry that you guys put in your work.

Purty lil' knife for a purty lil' girl. Glad I got to meet Miss Emmie. She is recovering very well. Good Lord definitely had His hand on her.
