man that is one nice looking grinder! looks like the one I have plans for. The plans I have didn't have any information on the tension arm, in fact i don't think it even had a drawing for it. Or the tracking roller adjustment. What did you make your rollers out of? Where di d you get the dimensions for them? what size bearings did you use? As you can see I have a ton of questions. I've started modeling the grinder in 3d and was going to create all my 2d drawings from the model. I figured I would make them available to download on my website. I'd like to be able to make them as detailed as possible.

Supposed to be the best one going with strength of up to 1600 psi. The enemy of all adhesives, though, is heat generated by grinding. Same goes for the castable poyurethane products. You are right to be concerned about standing in front of your machine when a belt lets go. I experienced my first belt failure a couple of days ago. I was grinding aggressively when a heavy 36 grit belt departed controlled flight and impacted my head and chest. Smarted something fierce but didn't draw blood. I make a habit of wearing a full face shield when I grind. Glad I did. Ken |

I've actually been casting parts for my machine all week. except for tonight, came home after work with aches and a fever. :-(
