increasing the number of threads/page for "new posts"

When I click "new posts", the new thread topics are displayed to me at 10 threads per page...and there are typically about 5 pages. Can I change this so I can see more threads per page ...say 50 threads per page. ?

Sincerely,
-Rob

I would prefer this as well, if you want even more input....

I have been thinking the same thing. Generally there are more new posts than the 5 pages will allow, so I end up missing a bunch.

It used to be that you could set the number of posts/threads to see. Alex and Company changed that several months ago in order to reduce the load on the servers.

I know this because I asked the same thing when it was changed. I think I was viewing either 25 or 50 threads per page.

I know if I am just checking out a forum I can view 40 threads, but with the new posts I have never been able to view more than 10 to a page and 5 pages max. I have been here over a year now. I don't have the time to go check each forum to see what I have missed.

I have always checked all of the forums, so I can't say I have the exact problem you all are having, but I have noticed that I am limited to 50 total threads if I do a search. It wasn't this way before... sadly, it seems that even if I refine the search to dates older than x I still get the same 50 threads. Makes it a lot harder to find old threads. Wish there was some balance, I'm sure it eats up bandwidth and cpu time to show hundreds or thousands of results.
